While some local showers may visit parts of the Aegean today, the general trend leans toward improvement until the broader weather change moves in next week bringing southern winds and widespread rainfall.

Clouds move intermittently over the northeast east and southeast mainland as well as Halkidiki Evia Crete and the Aegean. Local rain may occur mainly in Halkidiki the Sporades Evia Eastern Sterea Eastern Peloponnese and Crete while the rest of the country enjoys sunshine with occasional clouds.

Crete and the Dodecanese begin the day with increased clouds and local showers. Elsewhere skies remain mostly clear with clouds thickening later in eastern and northern regions. Morning and evening fog patches may appear on the mainland. Temperatures hold steady reaching 14 to 15°C in the north 16 to 17°C elsewhere with peaks of 18°C in the Ionian and western mainland and up to 20°C across the southern islands.

Most of Greece enjoys clear conditions with only brief cloud cover except Crete where more persistent clouds may deliver light showers. Visibility stays limited during early and late hours mainly in the western mainland. Northerly winds blow at 3 to 5 Beaufort and 6 to 7 Beaufort in parts of the Aegean. Temperatures remain unchanged.

Clear weather continues for most regions with thicker clouds lingering over the south. Fog could form again in the western mainland during morning and evening hours. Northern winds stay light while temperatures rise slightly in the west and south.
Saturday 13 December
Greece closes the week under clear skies featuring patches of fog across the mainland early and late in the day. Winds vary between 3 and 4 Beaufort in the Ionian and the mainland while northern winds in other regions reach up to 6 Beaufort. Temperatures show little change.
