Pi Tech founders
Chief Executive Officer Petros Papadopoulos, a Mechanical Engineer from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, emphasized the importance of family collaboration. He stated, I consider it a success of our parents who raised us to stay united and always work together so that we could reach this point. He added that for the past 5 years the team has been working in virtual reality, augmented reality and artificial intelligence, developing platforms that rely on these technologies.
According to Petros Papadopoulos, the company has secured funding from 7 European programs. Their main platform, HealthOn XR, offers interactive training for students and professionals in the health sector. Pi Tech currently collaborates with 5 Greek universities and aims to expand further into Europe and eventually into other continents.

Virtual interactive training labs
Kelly Papadopoulou, a student of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, explained that the platform provides virtual interactive labs for training in procedures that would otherwise be inaccessible due to limited infrastructure or large numbers of students. She noted that up to 20 participants from anywhere in the world can connect at the same time along with a supervising professor.
