A Dawn Encounter Turns Violent on Iroon Polytechneiou Street
I was making my usual early rounds through Zografou when I came across a scene that felt more like a sudden storm than a traffic dispute. It was around 5:30 AM and the street was quiet, still carrying the chill of the night. Then I saw tension erupt between a bus driver and the driver of a passing car, all because the bus driver had not used his turn signal.

The argument escalated fast. The car driver suddenly lunged forward and began striking the bus driver with his fists, blow after blow, until the scene turned grim. Before anyone nearby could react, the attacker fled into the dim morning light, leaving the injured driver struggling to remain upright.
Soon after, an EKAB unit arrived and transported the wounded bus driver to KAT Hospital for urgent care. Meanwhile, authorities have begun searching for the man responsible, fanning out across the surrounding streets to track him down.
