On September 15, 2025, after a confidentiality agreement was signed between the parties, the next step was the formal sending and acceptance of a letter of intent by the Greek businessman Aristotelis Mystakidis — a move that effectively gave the green light to proceed.
PAOK Basketball Club has already handed over its financial documents to Mr. Mystakidis’s team. In the coming days, certified auditors are expected to join the process to start a detailed review of the club’s financial years and liabilities.
This audit phase is estimated to last a little over ten days and is considered the key step for moving forward toward final decisions. If everything proceeds smoothly, it is expected that PAOK will have a new owner by the end of the month, ushering the basketball team into a new era.
The planned transaction foresees a share capital increase through which Aristotelis Mystakidis would acquire the majority stake in the club.
