Greece approves the final subsidy payment for more than 1,100 businesses impacted by Storm Daniel in Thessaly.

The Greek government has approved the final subsidy package for businesses in Thessaly that suffered damage during Storm Daniel. This decision authorizes the payment of 2.465 million euros to 1,112 affected companies.

This latest installment represents 14 percent of the total compensation owed to eligible businesses and agricultural operations. Earlier payments covering the remaining 86 percent were provided as an advance during 2024 to 2025.

The Ministry of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection announced that the funds will be released immediately once beneficiaries submit the required documents to the Region of Thessaly. The regional authorities will then prepare and forward the payment files.
