New Entrepreneurship Program Set to Launch
DYPA is preparing to announce a fresh program designed to support unemployed individuals aged 18 to 29 who want to pursue entrepreneurship. A strong emphasis is placed on women and on business ideas linked to the digital and green economy.
The initiative allocates a total budget of 37 million euros and aims to help 2114 young people develop new small and medium sized businesses over a 12 month period. Financial support of 17500 euros per business is offered to participants who demonstrate ongoing activity and viability.
How the Funding Is Distributed
Each approved business receives the grant in 3 separate installments to ensure steady progress and consistent operation.
First installment: 4700 euros released once the business officially begins activity under Milestone A.
Second installment: 6400 euros granted after 6 months have passed and the business has been verified through an on site inspection at Milestone B.
Third installment: 6400 euros provided after 12 months of continued operation following another verification at Milestone C.
Who Can Apply
Eligible applicants include unemployed individuals registered with DYPA who fall within the 18 to 29 age group. Candidates must be outside employment, education and training while also submitting a full business plan as part of their funding request.

The program is co funded by the Greek government and the European Social Fund under the 2021 to 2027 Human Resources and Social Cohesion Program.
