Tragic Death of Former Nickelodeon Actress
American actress Kianna Underwood, known for her roles in popular Nickelodeon childrens productions, died on Friday morning in New York as confirmed by local police.
A Fatal Hit and Run in Brooklyn
Authorities reported that the 33 year old performer was the victim of a hit and run incident in a central area of Brooklyn.
Details of the Incident
According to early findings, Underwood had just exited a store and was crossing the street, possibly against the traffic signal, when an SUV struck her and pulled her underneath the vehicle for nearly an entire block. The driver fled the scene and remains unidentified. Emergency responders confirmed that Underwood was already deceased upon their arrival.
A Career Remembered
Underwood became known through her appearance in the final season of the comedy show All That in 2005. She also held roles in the series Little Bill and appeared in the films The 24 Hour Woman and Death of a Dynasty.
