Asteras Tripolis announces the official return of Milan Rastavac for his third stint at the club.

Asteras Tripolis has officially confirmed the return of Serbian coach Milan Rastavac, marking the beginning of his third spell with the club. The announcement came shortly after the departure of Chris Coleman on 14 01 26, a move that paved the way for Rastavac to resume his role on the bench.

The club highlighted that Rastavac had previously guided the team from Dec 2019 to summer 2022 and then once more from summer 2023 until Sep 2024. His familiar presence is once again welcomed in Tripoli, as the management expressed confidence in his ability to steer the squad forward.

Asteras introduced his close associates as well, confirming that Goran Saula and Milos Velembit will be part of his coaching staff. Both have ties to Serbian football, while Saula had earlier served within the club.

Rastavac shared his thoughts upon returning, stating that the club holds a special place for him and that he is eager to contribute again. His message centered on dedication, stressing that actions and hard work must define this phase for Asteras as the team aims to overcome current challenges. He also urged supporters to stand alongside the squad and offer their backing during this demanding period.
