Nestlé Launches Voluntary Recall of Infant Milk Products in Greece
A voluntary recall of select infant milk products and specific batches available in the Greek market has been initiated by Nestlé as a precautionary measure. The decision follows the potential detection of cereulide, a toxin produced by the microorganism Bacillus cereus, in a supplier ingredient used in the affected batches.
No confirmed cases of illness have been linked to the products, according to the company. Nestlé notes that the recall aligns with its strict safety and quality protocols and was implemented after notifying the appropriate authorities.
Consumers who purchased products included in the recall are urged not to use them and to return them to the point of purchase for a refund. Receipts are not required for reimbursement.
