Educators from Rodopi took part in a transnational workshop in Malta as part of the Erasmus Future Classrooms Artificial Intelligence Driven Innovation in Education program.

The initiative is coordinated by the Directorate of Secondary Education of Rodopi with partners from Italy Malta and Turkey.
Focus of the Workshop
The meeting focused on examining how Artificial Intelligence can be integrated into everyday teaching practices in meaningful and responsible ways.
Hands On Activities
The participants worked with Artificial Intelligence tools and went beyond simple demonstrations to explore when how and why these tools should be used in the classroom.
Lesson Plan Development
They designed lesson plans enriched with Artificial Intelligence.
They tested scenarios that demonstrated correct and incorrect uses of Artificial Intelligence.
They reflected on ethical inclusion and data protection concerns.
Outcome of the Workshop
The workshop led to the development of principles of good practice and conclusions that will contribute to the projects official guide of recommended approaches.

Artificial Intelligence supports educators not replaces them
This reflection was highlighted by the participating teachers as a central message of the workshop.
