Greece reports that out of a total of 6.75 million registered vehicles, 5.94 million had their 2026 road tax paid on time.
Authorities note that nearly 9 out of 10 vehicle owners settled their obligations before the deadline.
Officials also indicate that more than 610000 owners did not meet the cutoff and are now expected to face increased charges during the first 3 months of the new year.
