Electric Bicycle Rider Arrested in Chania for Drunk Riding

Authorities in Chania arrested a 45 year old woman after finding her operating an electric bicycle under the influence of alcohol. Officers stopped her during a traffic check where they determined she exceeded the legal alcohol limit. The electric bicycle was immobilized on the spot and she received a fine of 1,200 euros.

Recent Drunk Riding Case in Attica

A separate incident occurred in Attica where traffic police identified a 25 year old woman riding an electric scooter while intoxicated. Tests showed her alcohol levels were twice the legal threshold during the inspection. She was issued a 350 euro fine and the scooter was confiscated by authorities.
