A deadly road accident late Tuesday night in the Lasithi region resulted in the loss of a 15 year old boy. Moments after 11 p.m. in the area of Erimoupoli Sitia a car became involved in a serious crash under circumstances that remain unclear.
Emergency responders arrived quickly, yet the first teenager could not be saved. Another 15 year old boy who was also involved in the incident suffered severe injuries.
Medical teams transported the injured teen to the hospital for immediate care. Meanwhile authorities have launched an investigation to determine the precise cause of the crash.
