Father From Messara Appears In Court Over Serious Abuse Allegations
A 54 year old man from Messara in Crete is set to appear before the courthouse to respond to accusations that he raped and abused his 24 year old and 15 year old daughters. Another detail emerging from the case involves the older daughter who reportedly has intellectual disabilities.
Investigators are examining claims that the baby born to the 24 year old in July 2025 and later placed for adoption outside Crete may be his biological child. Confusion grew further when the family initially attributed the pregnancy to an alleged assault by a Pakistani man, although authorities confirm that no official report was ever filed.
The father firmly rejects all accusations and argues that his son orchestrated the case against him. His legal team says he is willing to undergo DNA testing to prove he is not the father of the newborn and has no involvement in any abuse.
Police had also detained the 42 year old mother on charges of domestic physical violence, though she was later released under restrictive conditions. Support for the couple appears to come from the eldest daughter and several close relatives who insist the parents are innocent.
Family members have publicly criticized the two girls and their 23 year old brother who accompanied them to the police on Epiphany Day to file the report. Tension inside the family reportedly intensified due to the strained relationship between the parents and their son who lives in Lasithi.
During the holiday season, the 23 year old hosted his sisters, and according to the complaint, they confided that their father repeatedly abused them while their mother was at work. Their statements also included the shocking allegation that the baby born in 2025 was fathered by him.
