Roula Pispirigkou appears before the Court of Appeal for the second degree trial concerning the death of her eldest daughter.

Roula Pispirigkou returned to the Mixed Jury Court of Appeal on Monday for the continuation of the second degree trial into the death of her eldest daughter Georgina. Arriving shortly before 09:00 at the Athens Court of Appeal, she entered the building under close scrutiny. Proceedings had been pushed to this date so that her recently appointed defense attorney Vasso Pantazi could examine the substantial case file following the death of previous counsel Alexis Kougias. Her legal battle resumes as she contests the initial life sentence imposed for allegedly causing the death of her 8 year old daughter through a high dose of ketamine, an allegation she firmly denies. Another chapter in her judicial journey includes the two additional life terms issued last March for the deaths of her younger children Malena and Iris.
