A 16 year old in Patras and a 17 year old in Pyrgos were arrested in 2 separate incidents involving violence and weapons.

A 16 year old in Patras was arrested after allegedly assaulting a 15 year old in an incident that has raised concern among local authorities. The teenager is accused of punching the younger boy in the face before forcing him to kneel.

Police recovered the suspect's mobile phone, which reportedly contained video footage documenting the assault. Officers are examining the material as part of the case file.

In a separate case in the Pyrgos area, a 17 year old high school student was taken into custody following a teacher's complaint. Officers conducting a search found a butterfly knife measuring 21 cm in the student's possession.

The discovery prompted the arrest of the teen's mother as well, as authorities deemed she had neglected her supervisory responsibilities. Both the student and his mother now face charges.

The case files compiled for the 17 year old and his mother are expected to be submitted to the prosecutor of the Primary Court of Ilia for further action.
