Two women who worked as live in staff allege sexual abuse and coercion by singer Julio Iglesias in 2021.

Allegations Surface Against Julio Iglesias From Two Former Employees

Fresh accusations have emerged against Spanish singer Julio Iglesias as two women report experiencing sexual abuse while working as live in staff at his residences in the Caribbean.

A former housekeeper recounts being pressured into sexual encounters and describes episodes of slapping alongside physical and verbal mistreatment.

A physiotherapist who also worked for the artist recalls inappropriate touching, repeated insults and what she characterizes as a climate of ongoing harassment and control.

Both women allege the incidents took place in 2021 at Iglesias homes in Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic and Lyford Cay in the Bahamas when the younger accuser was 22.

These claims were published following a joint investigation by elDiario.es and Univision.

One of the women using the pseudonym Rebecca says Iglesias repeatedly summoned her to his room late at night and left her feeling like a slave.

He used me almost every night she told investigators adding that many of the encounters happened in the presence of a senior member of the household staff.

A former supervisor from the Punta Cana property rejects all accusations calling them nonsense and describing Iglesias as humble generous and consistently respectful toward women.
