A sudden fire at a hotel construction site in Analipsi prompted a swift alert across Crete on Monday.
The blaze ignited within an under construction hotel unit located in the municipality of Hersonissos.
Fire crews deployed 7 vehicles supported by additional personnel and a ground unit to contain the situation swiftly and prevent any spread.
Early information indicated that no individuals were trapped inside the site during the incident.
