Recognition for Naxos followed the extensive on site research of travel blogger Marta Ostoya, widely known as the most influential talent on the web.
Her findings combined travel trends presented at WTM London with insights from hundreds of trips across 40 countries.
The blogger’s platform Where Life is Great, followed by hundreds of thousands of travel enthusiasts, placed Naxos in the top position ahead of Warsaw, Costa Brava, Sicily, Riviera Nayarit, Bahia, Sharjah, Okinawa, and Iceland.

Ostoya describes Naxos as a place of golden beaches, crystal clear waters, serene landscapes, and authentic villages built into the mountains.

The municipality recorded a tourism milestone in 2025, achieving a 30.9 percent rise in air arrivals and a 5.8 percent increase in ferry travel compared to the previous year.
