Family Pleas Continue as Search for 16 Year Old Laura Enters Second Week
A week after the disappearance of 16 year old Laura from Patras, the search for her continues with growing urgency. Authorities remain focused on gathering any information that may help locate the teenager.
Her father delivered an emotional message urging her to reach out and reassuring her that her family is ready to support her through whatever she may be facing. He expressed deep concern while asking her to return home and share what is troubling her.
Her mother also appealed publicly, emphasizing that the family loves her and longs for her safe return as the days pass without contact.
Investigators have concentrated efforts in the Zografou area after reports and images suggested Laura may have been seen there. Witnesses described spotting her at a local supermarket, where she appeared composed as she made purchases.
Accounts from staff and residents indicated that she was carrying a backpack along with shopping bags before leaving the store.
Two students who claim to have encountered her said she walked calmly toward Dafnis Street and spoke in English when one of them tried to address her. They noted that she did not seem distressed while declining to engage further.
Support Appeal From The Smile of the Child
The child protection organization The Smile of the Child released a video on social media, encouraging Laura to contact them directly. The social worker featured in the message assured her that she will be met with understanding and support without criticism.
