A 67 year old man was arrested in Thessaloniki after allegedly driving his car while holding a leash attached to a dog running outside the vehicle. Investigators said the incident unfolded on Sunday afternoon in the Malgara area following a complaint submitted by a concerned citizen.
Authorities reported that a case file was created against the suspect for violating animal welfare legislation. Officers later determined that the dog, which belongs to the suspect’s wife, had a valid health booklet along with proper electronic identification.
