A domestic violence report in Thessaloniki led officers to uncover a collection of weapons inside the home of a 44 year old man who was later taken into custody.
A judicial representative joined police during the search, which revealed an array of items that included a crossbow eight knives of varying sizes two swords a spiked club a rifle style firearm a plastic rifle a metal and a plastic air pistol and a metal replica pistol.
A case was opened against the man for violating weapons regulations following the discovery of the arsenal.
The investigation began after authorities received the initial complaint for domestic violence.
