An incident in Kamara Square in Thessaloniki left a 15 year old girl injured after a group of minors attacked her and recorded the violence. Police later traced the individuals involved and compiled a case file detailing the charges.
Authorities identified 4 Greek nationals as suspects including 3 girls and 1 boy aged between 13 and 18. Charges were filed for simple bodily harm, threats, insult and breaches of data protection laws following the circulation of the recorded video.
The attack unfolded on the evening of October 5 when the group approached the victim after a verbal argument reportedly linked to romantic rivalry. Three minors physically assaulted her while the fourth filmed the scene as it happened.
