Two brothers and a 29 year old man have turned themselves in over the deadly assault as investigators move toward issuing multiple arrest warrants.

Three men connected to the fatal beating of a 30 year old man at a Patras nightclub surrendered to police late on Monday night, 05 January 2025. Two brothers aged 35 and 38, along with a 29 year old man, appeared voluntarily and reportedly insisted they were not responsible for the killing. Another claim from the brothers suggested there is evidence indicating a different individual carried out the fatal attack.

Authorities have confirmed that all three individuals are among nine people involved in the violent incident during the early hours of 04 January. Investigators have already identified eight of the nine suspects, and the identity of the final individual is expected to be confirmed soon. Police sources anticipate that approximately nine arrest warrants will be issued by Tuesday.

The three men are scheduled to be brought before the Patras prosecutor on Tuesday, 06 January 2025, where formal charges will be presented. They are expected to request additional time to prepare their statements before the examining magistrate. Charges under consideration include homicide and participation in a brawl.

An autopsy report revealed that the 30 year old victim died from myocardial ischemia caused by severe blows sustained during the assault. Medical staff noted he arrived at the hospital brain dead, showing dilated pupils and a Glasgow Coma Scale score of 4, indicating profound neurological impairment.
