Emergency crews rushed to aid a teenager who survived a significant fall in western Thessaloniki.

A 19 year old man was injured on Friday after falling from the third floor of an under construction building in the Kordelio area of western Thessaloniki. Details surrounding the incident remain unclear.

Emergency responders from EKAV reached the site quickly and found the young man conscious despite the height of the fall. Medical staff stabilized him hemodynamically before preparing him for transfer.

The patient was transported to the on duty General Hospital of Thessaloniki G Papanikolaou for further evaluation and treatment. Additional support was provided through a coordinated response involving a standard ambulance, a small sized vehicle and a mobile medical unit.

The operation was staffed by a team consisting of five rescuers along with one EKAV physician.
